Fusion Lesson 2: Create and Resize a Through Hole (Desktop)
Continue the precise-plate exercise in Autodesk Fusion desktop. Start with a separate blank 100 × 30 × 5 mm Lesson 1 plate, position the circle centre 15 mm from the chosen short end and 15 mm from the adjacent long edge, then create a Ø6 mm through hole with Extrude → Cut → All. If starting from the D6 checkpoint, skip hole creation and edit the existing sketch diameter to Ø8 mm. Keep the centre, outer dimensions and thickness unchanged.
In this 5:20 beginner lesson, you will practise dimensioning a sketch, cutting through the plate and editing the same hole feature. Save your own checkpoints and check that the result remains one solid body. Work in a separate training file, not a live project.
The lesson uses the Fusion desktop application, genuine application clips, labelled replays and held frames, with English narration and captions. Your interface may differ. This is an individual beginner lesson, not a complete Fusion course.
