Solid Edge is a mechanical CAD platform combining parametric and direct modeling with assembly, sheet-metal and drawing tools. Its AEC applications are strongest in manufactured building components, equipment, frames and enclosures. It supports detailed component development and fabrication documentation, with additional capabilities available through specific packages and extensions.
